An Introduction to First Aid

When an emergency occurs, no rescue service can respond as quickly as a colleague, a neighbour or a family member. The immediate intervention of one of these can help reduce the severity of the injuries and significantly increase the victim’s chances of survival. The first aid rescuer’s action consists in attending to certain physical aspects and offering psychosocial support to the victim, pending the arrival of professional help. Take this course to discover the French Red Cross’s first aid instructions.
