Disability can be a difficult topic to speak about, especially when it comes to employment. A lot of employers do not realise the many barriers that persons with disabilities face, whether at the recruitment stage or within the workplace. Most of the time, simple adjustments and the appropriate mindset will be enough to ensure persons with disabilities have access to a job and can efficiently perform their tasks.
